The Josep Puig i Cadafalch Institute is a public secondary education center committed to quality, inclusive and equitable education, at the service of all students and their environment. The center understands education as a key tool for personal and social transformation, and works to guarantee equal opportunities, respect for diversity and social cohesion.

The center’s educational action is based on a pedagogical project that promotes competency-based learning, critical thinking and personal autonomy, while favoring active and contextualized methodologies. We place special emphasis on tutorial support, the emotional well-being of students and the construction of a positive and safe climate of coexistence.

The Institute is committed to a comprehensive education that goes beyond curricular content, incorporating training in democratic values, co-education, sustainability and social commitment. The center maintains a close relationship with families and the territory, and works in a coordinated manner with the different educational agents to provide a response tailored to the needs of the students.

As a public center, the Josep Puig i Cadafalch Institute defends a universal, rigorous and quality education, aimed at training critical, responsible citizens and citizens prepared to face the personal, academic and social challenges of the present and the future.
