Sister Projects

Literature on educational inequalities is extensive, and several European projects have addressed the topic from different angles and using diverse methodologies.

To foster networking, build on the outcomes of previous and ongoing initiatives, and contribute to expanding the knowledge base on educational disparities, the LINEup consortium actively engages with related projects at national, European, and international levels. Collaboration is promoted across schools, foundations, public authorities, and research organisations to stimulate dialogue and foster direct interaction with the scientific community and key stakeholders. These efforts aim to encourage both research-driven and practice-oriented synergies.

As part of this strategy, LINEup launched a Call for Cooperation with other European projects working on educational inequalities. Particular attention has been given to four sister projects funded under the Horizon Europe call HORIZON-CL2-2023-TRANSFORMATIONS-01-06, which share similar objectives: LEARN, MapIE, REVERS-ED, and STRIDE.

LINEup plays a coordinating role in this collaboration, having developed a strategic cooperation framework to guide joint initiatives such as: knowledge-sharing, joint dissemination, regular coordination meetings.

These partnerships aim to amplify collective impact and support the development of data-informed policies for educational equity in Europe.
